How to Apply

The Trustees meet three times a year - January, May and September.

For applications to be considered at this meeting, they will need to be received by post by the end of the previous month. Applications received after this date will be held over to the next meeting.

There is no application form but applications should be in writing to The ROSCA Trust, 1 Moat End, Thorpe Bay, Essex SS1 3QA to include the following details:

• the project, including costings,
• the amount required
• the organisation's latest balance sheet, where appropriate 
• bank account details - please include your sort code and account number so that we can make an electronic transfer if your application is successful 
• contact details i.e. Name, postal address, phone number, email address.

The Trustees are particularly interested in small, grass root organisations but will consider applications from larger groups. We provide grants to voluntary and community groups in Southend on Sea, Rochford and Castle Point local authority areas. The maximum grant is usually £5,000.00.

The ROSCA Trust does not make ongoing support commitments and prefers to support specific projects or equipment needs.  It will make contributions to capital projects, refurbishments or adaptions to meet specific needs such as for the disabled.  It will only consider one application from each organisation at a time and only one application within a 12 month period.
